I was inspired to create this freeform knit and crochet book cover after I had the opportunity to take a freeform class with the amazing Prudence Mapstone. 

The cover includes a range of crochet stitches (including bobbles, ruffles, several bullion stitch variations, reverse crochet), as well as knit pieces in a variety of shapes and sizes. To tie everything together, I finished with a couple embroidered embellishments (those years and years of childhood embroider classes finally put to use again!).
